Prosthodontist

Introducing Dr. James Browning, DDS, MS

November 30, 2021

Hello patients, friends, family, and colleagues.

I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy.  I wanted to take a moment and update you on some changes at our office.  Since re-opening after the pandemic shut down in March 2020, we have seen continued growth.  We are treating many patients and helping them achieve their dental and health goals.  Due to the continued growth and desire to make dental appointments more accessible, Dr. James Browning has joined our staff.

Dr. Browning and I first met about 6 years ago when Dr. Browning expressed interest in pursuing a prosthodontic residency program at my alma mater, Texas A&M College of Dentistry (prev. Baylor College of Dentistry).  We spent a good bit of time together discussing the many benefits that prosthodontics provides both personally and professionally.  I was able to write a recommendation letter for the prosthodontic program for Dr. Browning and the rest is history.

Dr. Browning has a remarkable professional past.  He was a software engineer for 11 years before deciding that dentistry would provide a more fulfilling career.  To date, Dr. Browning has one bachelor’s degree, two masters, one doctorate, and one post-doctorate.  To say that he is a smart guy would be an understatement.  Dr. Browning graduated from his prosthodontic program in May 2020 and joined our practice in August 2021.

For those of you that may be worried, I am not slowing down or stepping back.  I just need help.  I will continue to see all of my patients and friends just as usual, but now there will be extra availability if you have a dental emergency or need a new patient/friend to get an appointment quickly.  Dr. Browning joins a team of like-minded individuals that focus on providing our patients the best care with compassion and honesty.

Between myself, Dr. Browning, and Dr. Finley (an endodontist who practices out of the same office), patients will have increased access to care and specialists.  Dr. Browning’s joining of our team also creates more collaboration opportunities among multiple specialists when patient care becomes complex.  The benefit of having this many specialists under one roof will no doubt give patients an even better dental experience.

Thank you for trusting me and my team with your dental care.  Thank you for being faithful in allowing me to serve you for the past 8 years since assuming leadership of Pro Dental Dallas.  I enjoy our dental family and look forward to caring for your dental needs for many more years!

Sincerely,

Jason D. Roe, DDS, FACP
